Directing
My directing/producing career began in 2014 when I produced and directed an original musical. The show was titled All's Fair: A New Musical. I continued directing while I was enrolled at Elon University, working on projects such as Tennessee Williams one-act "Portrait of a Madonna", Blood Wedding by Federico Garcia Lorca, translated by Lillian Groag, You Can't Take it With You (Assistant Director), Crimes of the Heart (Assistant Director) and select scenes from Macbeth for an Undergraduate Research presentation. In 2019 I directed a Bare Bard styled production of As You Like It. We had 20 hours of rehearsal time, and we worked from the First Folio script. It was an intense, 90 minute sprint, with a reduced storyline, improvisation, and audience interaction.
