I was born and raised in Durham, North Carolina. As a child, I was constantly dressing up as one character or another and creating the world they lived in. I've loved using my imagination, it has brought me more joy than anything else. Eventually I realized that someone can actually have a career where they can utilize their love for creating characters and imaginary worlds. Some are actors, some are writers, some are directors, but I wanted to do it all.
In college I had the immense pleasure of working with some of the most incredible mentors and peers, and found time to have a Lord of the Rings marathon or two. Somehow, amidst all of this, I discovered my undying love for William Shakespeare and his plays. His creativity and wit inspired me. During my Summers I finally became a Jedi Master by training in stage combat with teachers from the Society of American Fight Directors. I also worked as a Teaching Artist and Acting/Education Intern at Orlando Shakes for the 2018/2019 season.
Over the years I have become a passionate Actor, Writer, Director, and Stage Combatant. My palette may have grown somewhat along the way, but I still run around in costumes pretending I'm one character or another. I believe in the power of imagination, and I want to spend my life creating and discovering more about myself and the people around me. The arts are important to me; performance is important to me, and I want to share it with everyone.
"Eternity was in our lips and eyes/Bliss in our brows' bent"
