Writing

PictureTable reading of "The Tragedy of King Arthur" (2019)
In addition to performing and directing, I also have a strong passion for writing. I've written scripts for plays, musicals, and films, as well as lyrics and fiction/poetry. My first completed script was a libretto for a brand new musical titled "All's Fair: A New Musical". In addition to writing the book and lyrics, I directed the premiere production.

My writing style is very much inspired by my favorite playwright: William Shakespeare. Several of my plays and works-in-progress are verse plays, telling epic stories with the same scope of Shakespearean dramas. These plays are part of a series I am calling "Shakespeare: Reignited"; an endeavor to bring the poetry and scale of Elizabethan theatre to a 21st century theatre-goer in stories they have never seen before onstage.
